How do I sign up for classes?
All class registration is handled through Sawyer.
To sign up:
Visit our Classes page
Select the class and session you’d like
Complete registration and payment through Sawyer
If a class is full, Sawyer will show it as unavailable.
How long is a class session?
Each session includes four weekly classes, and each class is two hours long.
When do new sessions start?
New class sessions start monthly from September through June.
During the summer, we offer kids sewing camps instead of regular weekly classes. Adult classes usually take a break in July.
What ages can take classes?
Adult classes are for ages 18+
Kids classes are for ages 8 and up (must have finished 1st grade)
Age requirements help ensure students are comfortable using sewing machines and tools safely.
What does the Adult Beginner Class include?
Our Adult Beginner Sewing Class is designed for students with little or no prior sewing experience.
Price: $255
Includes:
Four 2-hour classes
Instruction
Sewing machine use
Fabrics included
No prior experience is required.
What class comes after the Adult Beginner level?
After completing the beginner series, students may enroll in our Next Level / Continuing Sewing Classes.
These classes are more flexible and skill-building:

Projects and techniques are tailored to what you want to learn
We meet students where they are and help them grow at their own pace.
Do you offer alterations classes?
Yes. We offer Alterations Sewing Classes for students interested in learning hemming, fitting, and garment adjustments.
Price: $225
Focused on practical alteration skills
Are materials included?
Material inclusion varies by class:
Beginner classes: fabrics included
Continuing classes: some fabrics included
Alterations classes: bring your own clothing you want to alter or fix.

Do you sell gift cards?
Yes! Gift cards are available through Sawyer and can be used toward classes or camps.
Gift cards make a great gift for beginners and experienced sewists alike.
Can I customize what I learn after the Adult Beginner class?
Yes — that’s one of the best parts of our program.
